Oak-aged Sour Black Ale

Our oak-fermented and aged sour black ale brewed in collaboration with our friends from Woodfour Brewing in Northern California’s Sonoma County offers flavors of red grape skin with a mild oak character, plus a touch of tootsie roll. It has a strong, round acid that is finished with a subtle Brett character. This was fermented with our own mixed culture of yeast blended with Woodfour’s spontaneous cultures.

Malt — 2Row, Abbey, Munich, CaraBelge, Special B, Oats, Midnight Wheat
